The Opening Session
We had such an inspiring session yesterday! The Divas and Drummers of Compton got us energized with a fun and charismatic performance showcasing their dancing, drumming, and rapping talent! We then heard directly from BBBSA President and CEO Artis Stevens who delivered a conference keynote on A Bold Path to a Big Future. Afterward, we took a moment to honor the remarkable staff and board members who have made significant contributions to our organization. This included prestigious awards such as the Robert M. "Skip" Walsh Memorial Award and the Brick Award for Program Staff Person of the Year.
Disney Night!
Later in the day, we took a trip to Disneyland for a magical time together as a group. BBBS is the first organization to receive the group Twilight experience since before the pandemic and we can't thank our partner Disneyland enough! We're so appreciative of their belief in our mission and for partnering with us both nationally, as well as, locally with Orange County & Inland Empire's active Big Futures program.
