TSG Building Code 2023 Series: Combined Segments to Date

Dear Valued Clients and Friends,

Since November 2023, when your trusted advisor, Total Solutions Group, identified the issue with the Windbourne Debris wording change, we have worked endlessly for you to get this reverted back to the 7th Edition definition.

We attended meetings with the FHBA Code and Standards, Florida Building Code Commission meetings, and meetings with Building Officials to ensure that everyone understood the impact this had across Florida, especially Central Florida.

We are pleased to inform you that we received word there was no opposition to the 21-day waiting period and the code has gone through the rule-making process. Therefore, the wording change will revert back to the 7th edition definition, effective August 19th!

Thank you for allowing us to be your trusted advisor in navigating the evolving building code and your go to partner for all your architectural and engineering needs.

Best regards,

Mike Keesee & Carl Brown

TSG Founders
