School Wheat Harvest

Thanks to our Wheat2School program There are 6 school sites growing wheat at school gardens in California: Dingle Elementary in Woodland, River City HS in West Sacramento, Parkfield Elementary in Parkfield, Lillian Larsen Elementary in San Miguel, Cappy Culver Elementary in Paso Robles, and Shandon Elementary in Shandon.

Wheat2School Program

The Wheat2School Grant Project aims to provide curriculum freely to any teacher in order to educate children about agriculture and healthy eating habits that include whole grains. The project supports hands-on agriculture and nutrition education, along with the consumption of local whole grains among students and their communities through an edible grain garden.
