2023 Date Changes Prohibited by Agents
Due to recent USTRANSCOM updates regarding BVS2.0 and instructions reflected in Advisory 23-0035, customers cannot secure load date changes with the agent or hauler directly; they must facilitate the process with the TSP and JPPSO in writing.

NVL International has put new procedures in place to account for this new requirement.

  • If a customer contacts an origin agent for a load date change, the customer should be directed to contact NVL International for instructions on how to request a date change.

  • Date changes requested by the T.O or base should be accommodated however you must obtain the request in writing. Verbal authorizations are not allowed.

  • Effective immediately, we have removed the fields for date changes on the NVL pre-move survey form. If at the time of conducting the pre-move, the customer requests a change in load date, NVL International is to be contacted prior to the agent agreeing on new dates with a customer. Again, NVL will provide the member with instructions on how to request a date change.

  • Please note the addition/removal of pack dates doesn’t require customer contact to NVL, but load dates should not be shifted to account for a necessary change in pack dates.

  • Once date changes have been approved NVL will advise all parties.

We understand that this is a major change in practice. However, this is a USTRANSCOM requirement that will impact future business for all parties if not adhered to properly, and therefore not optional. We appreciate your compliance in the matter, for us to all have a profitable peak season.
