Most Delicious Time of The Year
Pittsburgh Restaurant Week has something for everyone.
Want to try a new eatery, there are a number of first-time participants for the week that started yesterday.

Indecisive? Their website offers a Restaurant Roulette wheel that will pick a spot at random.

Are you a last-minute planner, many eateries do not require reservations.
Don’t think one week is enough to take advantage of the meal deals, many restaurants are extending their offers for a second week.

Pittsburgh Restaurant Week summer edition, runs from Aug. 8 through Aug. 14. Many of the deals will continue through Aug. 21, as indicated on the website by an orange “Two Weeks” icon next to the restaurant name.
The maximum price for the featured menu is $40.22 for a meal with two to four courses. All participants offer dinner, and some also include a lunch option.

A great amenity of summer restaurant week is that most restaurants feature lighter fare than the winter event. Many venues also focus on locally grown produce and other locally sourced products.

This year's lineup includes Downtown favorites like Eddie Merlot's, Emporio: A Meatball Joint, Social House, and much more! So start making dinner plans...and reservations!
Free French Fries At Liberty Chick 'n' Fish All Month

Restoring A Piece of History – Mellon Square
Mellon Square is a landmark park in downtown Pittsburgh. Built during the city's 1950s Renaissance, the park provides a green oasis that highlights and enhances the buildings around it. One of the oldest surviving parks to be built atop a parking garage, Mellon Square is one of the country's original "green roofs."

The completely restored Mellon Square reopened publicly in May 2014 and offers a renewed urban oasis for workers, visitors, and residents, while supporting economic growth in the city’s downtown core.

This summer, catch live music in Mellon Square every Wednesday afternoon! You can also join your fellow downtowners on the last Thursday of the month at the Summer at the Square Block Party series beginning at 5:30 p.m.!
