The Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2023 Economic Forecast scheduled for Tuesday, June 13th starting at 7:30am. Join us to see what the United States, State of Connecticut and the Greater Danbury economy has forecasted for the upcoming quarters. 


“It’s always important for municipal leaders, business owners, and residents to have an understanding of the local economy in order to make informed decisions,” said Ken Weinstein, President and CEO of Newtown Savings Bank. “We know the Economic Forecast will be a great resource and we’re proud to partner with the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce to bring it back to the community again this year.”

Our speaker, Philip J. Lane is a Professor Emeritus of Economics at Fairfield University. He is a former mentor in the Ignatian Residential College (15+ years) at Fairfield University. His areas of research interests include depository institutions, and financial modeling. His areas of teaching experience include money and banking, financial markets and institutions, and macroeconomics.

CT Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE) held its Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 18th at Scotch Plains Tavern in Essex. President & CEO, Cindy Bombard, was recognized as her term of President of CACCE has come to an end. Incoming CACCE Leadership will be Yetta Augur of the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce as President, P.J.
