SLR SPRING 2023 MEETING: REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Please fill out the SLR 2023 Spring Meeting Registration Google Form online. When completing the online registration form, please ensure that you are logged out of your Google account (if you have one) and that you enter your firm/professional email address on the form. Only one registration form per firm is necessary. Meeting registration will close on March 27, 2023.

Please note that Invoices will be emailed directly from Bill.com and will include a link to pay via credit card. Check payments are still acceptable and can be made payable to State Law Resources as usual. Please let Hannah know if you have any questions. Invoices will be sent out mid-week following your registration.

Hotel Reservations:

You can reserve your room through this link, or by calling 702-247-2258 and mentioning the group code CISLR23 or Group name “State Law Resources Spring Meeting 2023”. The SLR room rate is$119 on Wednesday, April 19 and Thursday, April 20. The room rate increases to $239 on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22.

Reservations for pre- or post-nights, or for upgraded rooms must be made by calling. If you or your guest has wheelchair/hearing accessible (ADA) room requirements, please let the hotel know. You must book your room by Monday, March 27th to guarantee a room in the SLR room block.

SLR SPRING 2023 MEETING: CALL FOR CLIENTS

If you have a client looking for representation in multiple states that could benefit from an introduction to the SLR network at the Spring 2023 Meeting, please submit their information to Erin for consideration by the Planning Committee. Please note that all invitations must be pre-approved by the Planning Committee.

2023 MEMBERSHIP DUES REMINDERS

Please remember that your SLR 2023 Membership payments were due January 31, 2023. Please send in your membership dues at your earliest convenience. Dues can be paid by check or wire transfer. Please contact Hannah with any questions or for instructions on how to pay by wire transfer.

SLR WEBSITE PROFILE UPDATES

As we start 2023, please take a moment to review your information on the SLR Website for any changes or updates. Potential clients and members are often directed to your firm's page on our website for contact information, and it is important to have accurate information available.

When reviewing your firm and contact details, please verify that the following areas are accurate and current:

* Firm bio

* Office address and phone numbers

* Current profile photos (please also check that the photos are high resolution)

* Firm contact profiles

To make changes to your firms' online profile, please email Hannah.

SLR MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: BUTLER SNOW LLP (TX)

This month, SLR would like to spotlight member firm Butler Snow LLP of Texas.

Butler Snow has grown from a regional firm to one with national and international scope.

Butler Snow's Government and Regulatory Practice has the experience in handling major policy advocacy, regulatory, compliance or enforcement issues utilizing a combination of political, public relations, and mass media expertise. They practice in the legislative arena where they are vigorous advocates and coordinators of direct lobbying efforts for our clients. They track legislation in real time at the state and federal levels so that we can alert clients to new developments as soon as they occur.
