I don't know about you, but I am in need of CALM this week. The holidays are here (ain't no denying it now!) and there's a lot of rushing and distracting going on out there. I find that calming music and sounds are super helpful when agitated...or anytime really...
So this week's VIDEO PICK features my hard-working, joyful friend Saumil Manek and his sound bath meditation. He does them regularly at the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern, at Discovery Green, and all over the city! See his full list of events here.
We are a city of nurturers! There are many people and spaces who offer sound bath healing, including Body Mind & Soul, The Breathing Room, Dance with Stones, Elizabeth Baldwin Park, Gena Davis, Soufiane Sattva, Soul Tribes, Thanet Taout, Unwind Studio, and Yogasix West University.
