Greetings!

Thank you so much for supporting the 2nd Annual Hamilton Juneteenth last year. We are sharing with you our upcoming support opportunities for the 3rd Annual Hamilton Juneteenth Celebration!

A little about Juneteenth: Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth is the only holiday that commemorates the abolition of slavery, more specifically the emancipation of enslaved Africans throughout the United States of America.

Mayor Pat Moeller and City Council on July 22, 2020, signed a resolution recognizing and declaring that every June 19th in the city of Hamilton, Ohio will be celebrated as “Juneteenth” in perpetuity. The City of Hamilton now permanently recognizes Juneteenth, as a city holiday.

On June 17th, 2023, we will be hosting the 3rd annual Hamilton Juneteenth Celebration. This event will be noon-8pm, including the entirety of Marcum Park and The RiversEdge amphitheater. There will activities for the whole family; a kid’s zone, ongoing entertainment, Zumba in the park and so much more! Last year we were joined by about 40 vendors, over 300+ members of the community during the day and 1000+ for the sponsored concert later that evening. Our goal is to make this year bigger and better!

By supporting The Hamilton Juneteenth Celebration, you have the opportunity to promote your business in front of a large, diverse audience and show your support of the Black community here in Hamilton and Butler County. We have a variety of engagement levels and, no matter what you choose, you’ll be showing your support for the mission of freedom for all people.

If you have any questions or need further information for sponsorship do not hesitate to contact Charla Hale ([email protected]) or Candice White ([email protected]) our committee Co-Chairs.

Thank you on behalf of the Hamilton Juneteenth Celebration Committee!
