AHHA & YOGA Center
AHHA Center – June 2023
Join us Saturdays for Yoga Fit and Kettlebell Flow with Tom Hamilton
All levels are welcome! More information on our website: ahha-center.com/new-page-4
Join us Mondays at 12:00 for Chair Yoga with Patty
This class is fantastic for anyone that wants to try yoga but may feel “I’m too stiff” or “I can’t get on the floor” or desk jockeys that sit in a chair most of the day and wonder what they can do to help themselves out so they are not so stiff. Give chair yoga a try!  Drop-ins welcome and it’s OK to come a little late or if you need to leave a bit early!

We hope to see you at the center!

Bardstown-Nelson County Tourist & Convention Commission & African American Heritage Museum
Bardstown/Nelson County Tourism is proud to announce our latest collaborative ARPA project with 5 other counties in Kentucky. The awards are part of the $75 million in ARPA funding announced by the Governor in July to boost the state’s tourism industry and economy following the decline in visitors brought on by the pandemic. The funds are distributed by the Kentucky Department of Tourism to eligible tourism organizations throughout the commonwealth. This multijurisdictional project aims to build a trail that will highlight locations connected to Kentucky’s Black History. Rather than reading from a sign, visitors will have the opportunity to connect with these sites in unique ways, specifically, an augmented reality experience that will allow history to come to life using QR codes. The trail will lead you through stops at Shelby, Jefferson, Hardin, Bullitt, Oldham, and Nelson counties. Specifically for Bardstown, My Old Kentucky Home and the African-American Heritage Museum will be a part of the trail. We are honored to be a part of this ground-breaking history project that will highlight the importance of African Americans in Oldham County.
