Tribal Environmental Health Summit

Save the Date!

Greetings Friends in Indian Health,

We are excited to invite you to the National Indian Health Board (NIHB) 2023 Regional Tribal Environmental Health Summit series. NIHB is partnering with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) to host a series of regional summits surrounding environmental health in Indian Country. Each summit will feature Tribal leaders, environmental health practitioners, environmental health subject matter experts, Tribal, local, state, and federal partners engaging on topics relevant to each region.

Summit attendance will be free of charge, and will be held July 25, 2023 and July 26, 2023 at the Oklahoma City Conference Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There is not a registration fee to attend, however, attendees will be responsible for their own travel and lodging. NIHB is able to provide some travel assistance if needed.

In order to get a better idea of attendance and travel accommodation needs, we have created a sign up form. If you plan to attend a summit(s), please fill out the form on the website located here. If you have a need for hotel accommodations, please book through the link located here to secure a room in our hotel blocks.

AwA’ahdah (Thank you),
