Occupational Priorities

Georgia Mountains Regional MFG Sector Employers annually prioritize their occupational needs. We use this list to determine the direction of our work. As Industrial Maintenance Technician hit #1 again, you can expect to see a deeper dive into what the position entails to the employer, employee, job hunter, and educator in the coming months.

High Demand Career Initiative


TCSG's has reopened funding for APP101,

2-year USDOL Certified Apprenticeships, that are available for apprenticeships related to the Occupational Priorities list. Last award period, American Woodmark, ASI Southeast, Haering Precision, and Specialty Appliances were each funded for 1 or more apprenticeships. This funding is in addition to WorkSource Georgia Mountains IWT funding.
