Rowland Unified School District is proud to recognize Nina Lenitha Griffin, School Bus Driver, as our District Classified Employee of the Year. Students are always excited to see Ms. Nina each morning and after school, as she safely transports them to and from school. When passing the time waiting for all students to board the bus, Nina can be found reading and sharing stories with the younger students who have an earlier dismissal. Students adore Ms. Nina and parents appreciate her care, warm smile and laughter. She always brings a "can-do" attitude and has embraced the Transportation Department's new technology in supporting student safety and communication.

That's not a typo... yet hard to believe the two RUSD employees pictured above (Irene Diaz and Christine Gradillas) have been servicing students for 45 years in RUSD! Thank you both for your passion to supporting students every day and unwavering commitment to the field of education. You are both an inspiration to us all!

Last night was the RUSD Longevity and Retirement celebration where employees who have worked for 25, 30, 35, and this year, yes, 45 years were honored. Congratulations to all of the employees that were honored and THANK YOU for all you do each and every day for families and RUSD community.
