Brenda Stofft Needlepoint Retreats: July 1-6, 2023

July 1-3: Sasha the Fox

Brenda Stofft will be teaching us how to make Sasha the Fox, a 3D doll. Sasha is a darling needle felted fox dressed in her finest winter frock. Her clothing contains needlepointed elements and are stitched on 18ct mono with a variety of threads and embellishments. 

It's a "big look" project that is totally doable in 3 days. Brenda makes needle felting and the needlepointing the fox a FUN experience! Wow yourself and your friends by completing this beautiful work of art.

July 5-8: Needlepoint Embellishment

Students purchase any Brenda Stofft Design canvas from Stitching Fox at least 5 months prior to the class. Stitching Fox sends the canvases to Brenda so that she has ample time to study, interpret, design, select stitches and threads, and write the guide that will help bring the canvas to life.

Custom stitch guide and thread guide provided with individualized instruction, 6hrs/day.

Tony Minieri Needlepoint Retreats: July 22-29, 2023

July 22-25: Back to Basics 2

Second in the Back to Basics series of classes, the object of this class is to explore all the aspects of good canvas embroidery technique in a sequential order to strengthen the student's stitching technique. In this class Tony continues to explore stitch families and include blackwork, pulled work, and reverse appliqué.  

**Participation in Back to Basics Level I is a requirement for participation in this class**

July 27-29: Canvas Embellishment

Students purchase a canvas from Stitching Fox at least 5 months prior to the class. Stitching Fox sends the canvases to Tony so that he has ample time to study, interpret, design, select stitches and threads, and write the guide that will help bring the canvas to life. Custom stitch guide and thread guide provided with individualized instruction.

Stitchers should have some experience with needlepoint prior to taking the class.
