More than 1.2 million transactions took place through GeorgiaDirect during 2023. There are currently 379 organizations using GeorgiaDirect and the number of active addresses has increased to 8,921.
GeorgiaDirect is GaHIN's secure email messaging service that lets providers send and receive authenticated and encrypted patient health information over the internet to other authorized and trusted recipients. GaHIN offers GeorgiaDirect at no charge to authorized, credentialed providers.
Providers use the GeorgiaDirect email service on the internet to send and receive authenticated, encrypted health information directly with other trusted recipients, both within Georgia and nationwide.
