You're invited! Ribbon cutting at Countryside Elementary
Join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of Build 220 construction at Countryside Elementary School! Construction at Countryside began this past summer. Key projects include: building one new classroom, renovating the library to create a dedicated STEM lab, upgrading the existing sensory room for students with special needs, and enhancing safety and security measures. The ribbon cutting will be held on Monday, Feb. 27 at 3:30pm.

Build 220 construction continues this month at Barrington High School, where construction crews are working on the front atrium addition. It is anticipated to be completed in the fall, after the start of the 2023-24 school year. Construction is set to begin on interior physical education spaces this spring. In addition, exterior physical education/athletic spaces will be ready for students to use this spring.

At Hough Street, construction continues on the new STEM lab located next to the library, as well as the new addition on the west side of the building, which will include resource rooms and a new sensory room for students with special needs.
Take the 5Essentials Survey
This year all students in grades 4 through 12, as well as teachers and parents across Illinois will have an opportunity to participate in the annual statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey. This survey is designed to generate a detailed picture of the inner workings of your child’s school. As a parent, this opportunity will allow you to share your thoughts on the important elements of school effectiveness in a survey about your child’s school. Please note, Barrington 220 is under the Lake County Regional Office of Education, therefore parents must select Lake County to find your school. This applies even if a school is not located in Lake County. Click here to take the survey.
