Welcome to the first installment of The Winston School Campus Redevelopment Update! We are so pleased to be starting the campus redevelopment project and want to keep you informed about the progress.

In this week's installment, I'm happy to announce that our team has been hard at work preparing for this project and the groundwork will begin soon.

Here's a sneak peek at what's to come:

  • Community Engagement: We're committed to keeping our campus community informed and involved throughout the redevelopment process. Thank you very much to all the parents who attended our Let's Shape Winston's Future Together event last week! We were excited to unveil the first renderings, answer questions, and get your valuable feedback. Each and every one of your comments, suggestions, and questions are given honest consideration. In the coming weeks and months, we'll host more informational sessions and virtual tours to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the development progress.

  • Construction Status: We are on track to begin rehabilitating our largest classroom building this summer with completion aimed for September. This schedule is timed to minimize campus disruption and allow us to enjoy ten beautiful new classrooms in the coming school year!

  • Stay Updated: Watch for our campus development updates, where we'll give you the latest news and insights into the construction project. We want to ensure that you're always in the loop and have the opportunity to share in the excitement of this transformative journey.

The Winston School Board and staff are incredibly grateful for your support and enthusiasm as we embark on this new chapter in the school's history. Together, we're shaping the future of education for our students, and we can't wait to see the incredible impact these new buildings will have on their learning experience.

If you have any questions or would like more information about the campus redevelopment project, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. We are also actively looking for community members interested in participating in the fundraising efforts. There are many possible ways to help, so I am happy to discuss opportunities.

Thank you for being a valued member of our campus community, and stay tuned for more exciting updates in the coming weeks!

Warm regards,

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who generously contributed pizza and a variety of homemade and store-bought pies in celebration of Pi Day on Thursday, March 14th. Your thoughtful donations added joy to our festivities and provided invaluable support for our Student Council activities. Your generosity makes a difference and we are deeply thankful for your support.

This week, College & Career Readiness students presented their occupation interest projects. They had to choose a career they were interested in and research the following about the career, including:

  • Work Environment
  • Interests and Values
  • Education Requirements
  • Salary and Job Outlook
  • Colleges offering Programs
  • Similar Occupations
