PARISH SURVEY & STRATEGIC PLANNING --- The Parish Survey results will be presented THIS SUNDAY, MARCH 17 in the Media Room after Coffee Social (about 11:30am) and everyone is invited. A similar presentation will be offered via Zoom on Thursday, March 21st at 7:00pm at https://www.annunciationwi.org/sp. >>>During the month of March, Fr. Ciprian will continue the work on Mission, Vision, and Values. At the same time, the SP Committee will complete some assessments in preparation for Saturday, April 6th, when the entire SP Committee will meet in person with Steve and Dimi to further analyze the data as a group and rank our opportunities for growth. >>>During the month of April, the Vision Teams will be created, and they will begin their work to design 24-36 month plans to strengthen our parish – the bulk of this work will be done and completed in the month of May.

Instead of leaving for Sunday School after Holy Communion, students will proceed downstairs to prepare for the Sunday of Orthodoxy Procession with the Icons.


FANARI LENTEN RETREAT --- Sat, Apr. 13, 2:00-8:00pm --- Annunciation

This Metropolis-wide Lenten Retreat is OPEN to all 5th-12th graders whether they have participated in a Fanari Camp or not in the past. The retreat will be a day in the life of camp, and will include: Worship, Orthodox Life, games, and much more! This retreat is regional and will have seven satellite locations throughout the Metropolis. Registration is $30 per person. ANNUNCIATION COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT --- Sat, Apr. 20, 9:00am

Let’s give of our time and talents during Lent to super-clean our beloved church! Volunteers of all ages are asked to bring their muscle power, cleaning cloths, and dusters to make Annunciation spotless for Holy Pascha. Cleaning supplies will be provided.

 

LOCAL ORATORICAL FESTIVAL DAY --- Sun, Apr. 21 after the Divine Liturgy

All written work (Essays/Poems) and Iconography must be submitted to Annunciation Sunday School by April 14. Liturgical chant, song, and speech will be performed on April 21.

As of Thu, Mar. 14, 2024, we have 188 pledged steward households who have pledged $256,023.80; so far, we have received $85,308.90.

2024 +DR. MARY P. HALLICK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS PROGRAM --- Two (2) scholarships will be awarded to two Orthodox Christian women. Both awards of $1000 will be presented to 2 senior high school students furthering their education through one of the following: either an associate degree at a technical college or a degree from a college or a university.
