SUNDAY SCHOOL GRADUATION CEREMONY & HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES RECOGNITION
Following Sunday School classes in the Church Basement today, all students will come back upstairs for the Graduation Ceremony; our High School graduates will be recognized on the Solea with an Icon of Annunciation from the church and a graduation gift from Philoptochos. During Coffee Social, we will celebrate the completion of another wonderful Sunday School year with an Ice Cream Social in the Atrium.
SPRING PARISH ASSEMBLY --- Cultural Center MEDIA ROOM --- The Spring Assembly will begin after the (Sunday School Recognition and Graduation Ceremony) Coffee Social - about 11:45am. Giving statements to current Stewards were mailed Thursday, May 9, documenting 2024 Quarter 1 giving. To be eligible to vote, a Stewardship Pledge Form for the year 2024 must be submitted & 25% of your Treasure commitment must be fulfilled prior to the meeting. If you are catching up on the actual date of the assembly (May 19), please do not place your catch-up stewardship donation in the collection baskets; rather, bring it to the Church Office during Coffee Social.
AHEPA Scholarship Awards Presentation --- 1:30pm --- The awards presentation will be at the Annunciation Cultural Center Grand Hall. This is a FREE event, and light treats and dessert will be served. All are invited to attend and celebrate our graduating High School students who are being recognized by Milwaukee AHEPA Chapter 43.
MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE --- Mon, May 27
Trisagion Services will be offered at the following cemeteries:
- 9:00 am --- Pinelawn Memorial Park at Garden of the Resurrection
- 10:00 am --- Wisconsin Memorial Park in the Main Chapel
Print legibly (preferably in English phonetics) & bring with you the names of your departed loved ones who were buried at the respective cemetery.

Congratulations to Raylan (John) Carter, son of Ryan & Zoe Carter, for being baptized into the Orthodox Christian faith on Sun, May 12, 2024. His godmother is Kylie Katrichis.
Congratulations to Eleni Joseph and her parents, Andrew Joseph & Maria Sarandos, for the 40-day Churching on Mon, May 13, 2024. Eleni was born on April 4, 2024.

2024 STEWARDSHIP --- The 2024 Stewardship Pledge Form is available on our website and here https://tinyurl.com/annunciation-2024-pledge. The printed form is available in the Narthex & the Office. Stewardship and other donations can be made online at https://tinyurl.com/annunciation-give-now. As of Thu, May 16, 2024, we have 261 pledged steward households who have pledged $351,594.80 so far, we have received $171,227.24.

All Annunciation children interested in participating this year 2024 can join our sister parish Sts. Constantine & Helen (Wauwatosa) by contacting Vasili Kolintzas (262-794-2155). There are opportunities/openings for Track, Volleyball & Soccer. If there is enough interest, next year we can have our own participants and teams.
