LIGHTHOUSE CAMPERS visit & worship with us --- Holy Pentecost – Sun, June 23
Fr. Ciprian Sas will be concelebrating with visiting clergy as Lighthouse Campers & Staff will be joining our parish for worship on the Feast of Holy Pentecost. A warm welcome to all!
SAVE THE DATE: PLAZA GROUNDBREAKING – Sun, July 7
The Stabilization Committee will be hosting a ceremonial “Plaza Groundbreaking” on Sunday July 7 after Divine Liturgy with outdoor Coffee Social on the Plaza in front of the Water Fountain. We will have representatives from Ramlow Stein, our architectural firm, C G Schmidt, our construction management firm, Metropolis of Chicago representatives and of course all of you! A very momentous occasion and it will be nice to mark and celebrate the start of The Stair and Plaza portion of the project.

+++ PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Joan Andropolis fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the age of 93. The funeral service at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Sheboygan, WI, will be on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 12:00 noon, with visitation preceding at 11:00am until 11:45am. SATURDAY OF SOULS --- Forms to submit your list of deceased to be commemorated at the final Saturday of Souls of 2024 are in the Narthex and the Office. If you have already submitted a list during Great Lent this year, please do not submit another: your loved ones will be commemorated again on Saturday, June 22.

STRATEGIC PLANNING --- The Parish Survey results are available at annunciationwi.org/sp or by email if you contact the office. Our 5 Strategic Areas and their respective leads are: (1) Worship & Faith Formation (Elias Pagones), (2) Site & Facilities (Norm Eckstaedt), (3) Financial Health (Nicholas Ganos), Parish Community (Cheryl Haska), In-Reach/Outreach (Pat Galanis). Our Vision Team Leads received their training this past Thursday, June 13 and so begins the formation and work of the Vision Teams to create strategic goals and actions. After these goals, actions, & timelines have been reviewed and finalized, they will be compiled into our 3-year Strategic Plan to be presented and approved by the Parish Assembly.

As of Thu, Jun 13, 2024, we have 273 pledged steward households who have pledged $364,441.80 so far, we have received $200.802.74

2024 FAITH SCHOLARSHIP FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
The FAITH Endowment awards merit-based scholarships to exemplary graduating high school seniors in the Hellenic-American Greek Orthodox community who achieve academic excellence and are actively involved in their church and community. The application for the 2024 FAITH Scholarship for Academic Excellence is now available to download at thefaithendowment.org/scholarships. Full criteria and eligibility listed in application. Deadline for submission is June 28th, 2024.
