SAVE THE DATE: PLAZA GROUNDBREAKING – Sun, July 7
The Stabilization Committee will be hosting a ceremonial “Plaza Groundbreaking” on Sunday July 7 after Divine Liturgy with outdoor Coffee Social on the Plaza in front of the Water Fountain. We will have representatives from Ramlow Stein, our architectural firm, C G Schmidt, our construction management firm, Metropolis of Chicago representatives, and of course all of you! A very momentous occasion and it will be nice to mark and celebrate the start of The Stair and Plaza portion of the project.
VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL – Mon, Aug 5 - Fri, Aug 9, 9:00am-12:00pm
The Theme for this year is “This is my Beloved Son; Listen to Him.” Final flyer will be in July Koinonia Newsletter and registration will be available online soon. We need adult and High School volunteers. Speak to Kim Mamalakis or Pres. Maggie if you have any questions or if you’d like to help.

As usual, this biennial national congress happens together with the National Philoptochos Convention. Our church will be represented by delegates (Fr. Ciprian Sas, Norm Eckstaedt and Yusuf Abu-Hatoum) and Philoptochos delegates (Mary Fournogerakis & Eleni Zervas).

Fr. Ciprian will be attending & helping Fanari Week 5 (July 14-July 20). Presvytera Maggie will be helping/teaching during Fanari Week 3 (July 1-6).
2024 STEWARDSHIP --- The 2024 Stewardship Pledge Form is available on our website and here https://tinyurl.com/annunciation-2024-pledge. The printed form is available in the Narthex & the Office. Stewardship and other donations can be made online at https://tinyurl.com/annunciation-give-now. As of Thu, Jun 27, 2024, we have 274 pledged steward households who have pledged $364,691.80 so far, we have received $207,769.73.
STRATEGIC PLANNING --- The Parish Survey results are available at annunciationwi.org/sp or by email if you contact the office. Our 5 Strategic Areas and their respective leads are: (1) Worship & Faith Formation (Elias Pagones), (2) Site & Facilities (Norm Eckstaedt), (3) Financial Health (Nicholas Ganos), Parish Community (Cheryl Haska), In-Reach/Outreach (Pat Galanis). Our Vision Team Leads received their training this past Thursday, June 13 and so begins the formation and work of the Vision Teams to create strategic goals and actions. After these goals, actions, & timelines have been reviewed and finalized, they will be compiled into our 3-year Strategic Plan to be presented and approved by the Parish Assembly.

CHICAGO METROPOLIS ORATORICAL & FINE ARTS FESTIVAL BOOK has been posted to the Metropolis Oratorical website (www.chicago.goarch.org/oratorical-festival), in addition to pictures that were taken at the event.
METROPOLIS OF CHICAGO MUSTARD SEED FUND
The purpose of the Mustard Seed Fund is to test & scale promising new ministries & programs that inspire and motivate a new generation of Orthodox Christians to participate in the Church.
