DOORS OPEN MILWAUKEE --- Sat, Sept. 28, 10:00am-5:00pm --- Annunciation Church
Doors Open Milwaukee will include Annunciation again this year. Our Church Tour Committee will act as guides to members of the larger community of Milwaukee as they come to visit and learn more about our church. Our Baking Angels will have baked goods to sell also. This event is free of charge for all.

VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL 2024 --- Thank you to all our teachers and our many high school helpers (from both churches) for putting together a wonderful VCS this year yet again. OPERATION CLASSROOM: SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE --- Ends Today, Aug. 18
Philoptochos is hosting a School Supply Drive to help underserved and underfunded schools. This year we are happy to support the children of Engleburg Elementary, a school within our local community. Supplies can be dropped off between July 14 and August 18 at the Cultural Center. See flyer for more details.
DIAPER DRIVE --- Sept. 1 – 29 --- Philoptochos is hosting a Diaper Drive benefiting families in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. Your contributions are helping stock the United Way Diaper Bank. Diapers can be dropped off between September 1st and September 29th at the Cultural Center. See flyer for more details.

2024 STEWARDSHIP --- The 2024 Stewardship Pledge Form is available on our website and here https://tinyurl.com/annunciation-2024-pledge. The printed form is available in the Narthex & the Office. Stewardship and other donations can be made online at https://tinyurl.com/annunciation-give-now. As of Thursday, August 15, we have 284 pledged households totaling $378,401.80. To date, we have received $267,469.73.
STRATEGIC PLANNING --- We thank our Vision Team Leads and Members for their work submitting, revising and finalizing their smart goals and action items. The Parish Council and Strategic Planning Committee is looking forward to reviewing these and seeing how each growth opportunity is being addressed in September when the final full Strategic Plan will be compiled. The tentative date for the Special Parish Assembly to present & approve the Strategic Plan is October 6, 2024. More information will be provided once the plans have been finalized and implemented.

METROPOLIS OF CHICAGO 2023 AUDIT --- The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago announced this week it received a “clean” unqualified audit opinion of its 2023 consolidated financial statements.
