ANNUNCIATION CHOIR NEEDS YOUR HELP
The 66th Annual Metropolis Choir Conference is Oct. 11-13. The choir is looking for volunteers to assist with tasks during the day to welcome our visitors. Please look for the choir table during the coffee social to sign up to help. Help is needed with registration, snacks, food prep, clean up etc. --- Also available will be tickets for the awards dinner on Saturday, October 12 and in case you haven’t had the opportunity to help defray the cost of the weekend, the choir is accepting donations.
PHILOPTOCHOS - Diaper Drive --- Thank you to everyone who generously donated to the United Way Diaper Drive benefiting Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. Thanks to your support, we collected an incredible 82 boxes of diapers. United Way was beyond happy with the donation, and it will make a meaningful difference for families in need. Your kindness is truly appreciated!

STRATEGIC PLANNING --- We thank our Vision Team Leads and Members for their work submitting, revising, and finalizing their smart goals and action items. The Vision Team Leads met with the Parish Council and the entire Strategic Planning Committee on Mon, Sept. 30 to share and learn about the work of each respective team. The Special Parish Assembly to present & approve the Strategic Plan will be on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

2024 STEWARDSHIP --- The 2024 Stewardship Pledge Form is available on our website and here https://tinyurl.com/annunciation-2024-pledge. The printed form is available in the Narthex & the Office. Stewardship and other donations can be made online at https://tinyurl.com/annunciation-give-now. As of Friday, October 4, 2024, we received 306 Stewardship Pledges totaling $391,211.80 received to date $312,950.73. By the end of 2023 we had 367 pledged households, and with your help, we can still exceed 350 Pledged Households and hopefully reach our stewardship goal of $500,000. Please submit your pledge now!!!

SPECIAL COLLECTION by Philoptochos --- after Divine Liturgy on Sun, Oct. 6, 2024
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Asheville, NC is in the heart of the devastation in North Carolina and sustained some damage on their property. Our Philoptochos is doing a Special Collection to help this Parish Community during this difficult time. Your donations should be earmarked “Holy Trinity” and physical check donations should be made payable to “Philoptochos”. Philoptochos will then forward/send the special collection together with additional funds from the Philanthropy Account.
