2024-2

From the Desk Of

Curtis Glassen

We are excited to announce that we will be updating our quarterly meetings. We want to make them more interactive, engaging, and productive. That’s why we’ll be implementing a new platform that will help us design technology roadmaps for our clients. Instead of focusing on IT strategy on a quarter-by-quarter basis, this platform will enable us to work with you and create a 12-month roadmap. It will also help us match your IT systems with industry standards and best practices.

We believe that this new platform will enhance our collaboration and communication with you, as well as improve the quality and efficiency of our IT services. We look forward to working with you on your technology roadmap and helping you achieve your business goals.

Thank you for your continued trust and partnership.

Windows 10 End of Life

EXTENDED SUPPORT ENDS OCTOBER 14th, 2025

Microsoft has announced that support for Windows 10 will end on October 14, 2025. This means that after this date, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, bug fixes, or technical support for devices running Windows 10. While this doesn't mean that Windows 10 will suddenly stop working, it does leave devices vulnerable to security threats and compatibility issues.

So, what does this mean for users still on Windows 10?

1. Security Risks - Without regular security updates, Windows 10 faces higher vulnerability to malware and cyber threats.

2. Compatibility Concerns - Software and hardware support for Windows 10 may diminish, causing issues with new applications and devices.

3. Upgrade Options - Users should consider moving to Windows 11 for better security and performance.

4. Hardware Considerations - Ensure your device meets Windows 11 requirements or consider upgrades. Older devices may not be compatible with Windows 11 or may require hardware upgrades to run optimally.

5. Data Backup - Backup important data before upgrading to avoid potential loss.

6. Migration Planning - Businesses should plan carefully for a smooth transition to Windows 11 to avoid disruptions.
