SCMS relies on the commitment of our membership. Every aspect of our governance, including our Officers, Board of Directors, Program committee, and members of Standing and Award committees, is composed of volunteers. We actively encourage our members to volunteer and engage in our community at multiple levels of governance.
Numerous opportunities for service arise each year. You could participate in the Program committee to aid in the selection of papers and panels for the upcoming Chicago conference in 2025. Alternatively, consider joining a Standing committee to contribute to the organization’s key initiatives. Or, you might serve on one of our Award committees, where you'll have the chance to review cutting-edge scholarship.
