Good Afternoon Zach -

We hope you’re enjoying the start of the Spring semester.

The Housing Application for the 2024-25 Academic Year is now live! You can now access your application via the Housing Portal, where you’ll update your profile, contact information, privacy preferences, and more.

Once you complete the information portion of your housing application, you can create a roommate group. Now is a good time to begin thinking about where you want to live and who you want to live with.

As a reminder, only one student must create the roommate group and invite others using their @wfu.edu email addresses. To add someone to your roommate group, they must have completed the information portion of their housing application.

We’d also like to highlight a change regarding roommate groups and selection times:

  • In the past, selection times were based on the EARLIEST selection time assigned to the group, and selection times were assigned based on the individual’s housing credits.
  • Beginning with the 2024-25 Housing Selection, selection times will be assigned based on a roommate group’s AVERAGE housing credits.

After consulting with students, all continuing students can form mixed-sex roommate groups without specifically choosing the All-Gender Housing pathway. This adjustment will allow continuing students to live with whomever they want without an additional step.

As you prepare for selection, which will take place on March 25-28, we encourage you to visit and bookmark our Housing Selection page. Here, you’ll find an in-depth timeline for the selection process, important FAQs, information session dates as they become available, and important announcements and updates throughout the process. As you plan, please note that Polo Hall will be offline for Fall 2024 and thus unavailable in 2024-25 Housing Selection.

One last reminder, your Ocupancy Verification is due today. If you have not already done so, please log into your housing portal to complete this requirement.

If you have any questions, particularly as we begin the Housing Selection processes, please feel free to contact our office at housing@wfu.edu or 336.758.5185 during business hours.
