Hello Families,
We are all settling back in from Spring Break right in time for MCA testing. All that we ask is that kids do their best and give maximum effort. We understand that this can be a stressful time, so please allow a little grace to your child.
Shoutout to Mr. deNeui as one of his former St. Louis Park students Paige Bueckers was drafted first overall this week in the WNBA draft. This is just a reminder that dreams do come true.

Schoolyard Garden Update
This week we’re starting seeds with students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Students are learning all about seeds, including why we start seeds inside and how we use grow lights on timers (they are on 16 hours per day!).
Students have started squash, tomatoes, peppers, herbs, cucumbers, lettuce, kale, and more!
Outdoor garden sessions start the first week in May and we invite parents and guardians to join us in the garden for your student’s class. No garden knowledge required.
Happy planting!

Educational leaders from across Minnesota have shared feedback with the Minnesota Department of Education about the U.S. Department of Education letter. The letter details information on Title VI and SFFA v. Harvard. While next steps are still being determined by MDE and the Attorney General’s office, we’d like to provide an opportunity for the SLP community to share their voices on this matter. Strategic Plan Focus Groups
St. Louis Park Public Schools is building its next 5-year strategic plan (2025–2030), and we need your input to ensure it reflects the lived experiences of all families.
While we’ve received valuable input from many community members, we recognize the critical importance of including more perspectives from our Black, Asian, and Indigenous families.
PINK Consulting, LLC invites Black, Asian, and Indigenous families to participate in a confidential focus group to share how the last strategic plan—centered on racial equity—impacted you and your student(s).
