Students will always go outside unless the regular temperature is below 0 degrees or the windchill temperature is -10 degrees or below. We will watch the temperature to keep our students safe.

 

We are always in need of gently used or new winter gear, especially waterproof mittens/gloves.

Families, please have your child/children check the lost and found located right outside of the cafeteria. We have a number of items that need to find their home again!

Do you have children’s books at home that just don’t fit your child any more? Susan Lindgren is having a book swap to help get just right books in the hands of every student! Please donate your gently used books to school between December 2-13. Then on December 19, all students will be invited to choose 2 new (to them) books just in time for cozy reading over winter break. Thank you!

Art Memes Drawing Class

Unleash your child's inner comic with Young Rembrandts' cartoon drawing classes! Watch them master the art of exaggeration and facial expressions in our "Cold Faces" and "Dad Expressions" lessons.

Scent-sational Art with Kidcreate Studio

Come for the pretty pineapple printmaking, but stay for the sweet citrus scent! In this class, we'll draw, paint, sculpt, and more, but we'll do it all with a very special twist—these SCENT-SATIONAL works of art all smell as sweet as they look!

Strategic Planning Focus Groups 

St. Louis Park Public Schools sees, inspires and empowers each learner to live their brilliance. As our world continues to evolve, our roadmap to enhance the lives of our students, staff and community members needs to evolve too. 


We are proud to announce that St. Louis Park Public Schools is creating a new strategic plan that will launch in 2025. The new strategic plan is being created by SLP students, staff, families and community members who are part of our focus groups, community conversations, and planning meetings.


Please consider participating in one of the focus groups or community engagement listening sessions!

STEP Toy Drive

In December, STEP provides new toys and Target gift cards to St. Louis Park Children. Registration for this program is November 18-December 9.
