Ensure Access with Your Name Badge |
Remember to always keep your name badge with you throughout the conference!
Your name badge is your golden ticket into conference sessions, exhibit hall, networking events and onto the shuttles.

Conference App Information |
|
The AAPPR Conference mobile app makes it easy for attendees to communicate and connect with colleagues, locate your favorite exhibitors, participate in conference games, receive updates regarding the latest happenings and manage your preferred schedule of breakout sessions.
Pre-selection of sessions is not required.
We will print name badges directly from the mobile app. Please make sure your name, organization and titles are listed correctly.

Need some guidance on what to wear to conference? Let’s break down it down. Smart Casual is welcome! Weather is expected to be in the upper 60's. Please dress in layers.

The Virginia Beach Convention Center and Marriott VB Oceanfront Hotel do not operate a dedicated gluten-free or allergen-free preparation and service space. Dishes made on-site are prepared on shared equipment and may come into contact with products containing gluten and common allergens such as nuts. |

If you did not notify us during registration of your allergies, please do so by emailing [email protected]. AAPPR will make a reasonable effort to provide meal and drinks options that fit within common dietary restrictions or needs.

Build a Water Filter to Share with Communities Around the World
In partnership with Jackson + Coker and Wine to Water, you can give someone access to clean water in just five minutes by helping us build water filters to share with communities around the world. Stop by the Charitable Activity area of the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday, March 26. We will walk you through each step of how to assemble the filter and take care of shipping them out.

Continuous shuttle service to the VA Beach Convention Center, Marriott, and the official AAPPR hotels will be provided by Agape Tours.
Monday, March 25th
- 6:45am-11:30am - Shuttles between the AAPPR Hotels and the Marriott
- 11:30am-7:30pm - Shuttles between the AAPPR Hotels and the Convention Center
- 7:30pm-9:30pm - Shuttles between the AAPPR Hotels and the Marriott Hotel
Tuesday, March 26th
- 6:30am-5pm - Shuttles between the AAPPR Hotels and the Convention Center
- 5pm-8pm - Shuttles between the AAPPR Hotels and the Marriott Hotel
Wednesday, March 27th
- 7am-5:30pm - Shuttles from AAPPR Hotels to the Convention Center
(Last shuttle departs the Convention Center at 5:45pm.)
Official AAPPR Hotels include Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Embassy Suites Oceanfront, Hilton Virgina Beach Oceanfront, Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Doubletree, and the Cavalier Hotel (no shuttle stop, pick up at Marriott).

Continuing Education Credits |
|
Attendance at the conference offers 6.5 continuing educational credits. AAPPR is recognized by SHRM to offer PDCs for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. In addition, these credits apply toward CPRP certification renewal.
The HR Certification Institute allows professional development education that aligns with the applicable exam content to be used towards recertification of HRCI’s credentials. Visit www.hrci.org for details.
