The AGC Build Tennessee Awards is an annual program that highlights some of the top projects and people in Middle Tennesse construction. The projects are reviewed and judged by AGC member peers in other states on project safety, excellence in project management, excellence in client service, building innovation, and sensitivity to the surrounding environment and community. Entries are divided by contract size and building type to compare similarly situated projects. An Award of Excellence is only given to the top scoring project, company, or person in each category. Awards of Merit are reserved only for projects scoring within 5 points of the top project in a category. The projects, companies, and people winning awards are a prime example of our members working in line with the association’s core values: Skill, Integrity, and Responsibility.

General Contractor of the Year 2024:

Hardaway Construction was named the 2024 "General Contractor of the Year" for AGC Middle TN with the top scoring GC project: Standard Assembly

Specialty Contractor of the Year 2024:

Wolfe & Travis Electric was named the 2024 "Specialty Contractor of the Year" for AGC Middle TN with the top scoring Specialty contractor project: BNA 1903 Terminal and IAF Project

The annual AGC Middle TN Members Using Members survey results showed that AGC Member Bell Construction worked with the most AGC members of any GC in 2023.

The annual AGC Middle TN Members Using Members survey results showed that AGC Member Superior Traffic Control worked with the most AGC members of any Specialty Contractor in 2023.

The annual AGC Middle TN Members Using Members survey results showed that AGC Member United Rentals worked with the most AGC members of any Supplier/Service Provider in 2023.

This new award recognizes the Middle Tennessee members that had the highest amount of engagement in their local AGC chapter through any committee and board service, volunteer hours, AGC training utilization, sponsorship support, and attendance at member functions.

Messer Construction was the winner of the Member Engagement Award in the General Contractor category for their chapter participation in 2023.

Rackley Roofing was the winner of the Member Engagement Award in the Specialty Contractor category for their chapter participation in 2023.

United Rentals was the winner of the Member Engagement Award in the Supplier/Service Provider category for their chapter participation in 2023.
