  • TyriQ Amerson, founder of Go'Butter Cosmetics, offers a homemade organic skincare line that’s all about natural beauty.
  • Danielle Buchanon, founder of Cakepopulis, creates delightful cake pops for special events, adding sweetness to every celebration.
  • Bruce & Glen Proctor, founders of BruceGlen, are making their mark in the fashion world with their unique design brand.
  • Miosha RJ, founder of Read it & Leave it, is promoting children's literacy in Harlem by providing positive reading experiences and distributing culturally conscious books.
  • Brian Sessions, founder of The ROC Enrichment Program, is bridging the gap between education and entertainment through experiential learning.
  • Zainabou Thiam, founder of Sunu Body, brings the richness of West African culture to life through her online boutique that specializes in authentic African self-care products.

A Journey of Black Business Success


This month we celebrate and uplift Black entrepreneurs who are making a significant impact! One such NFTE alumnus is Michael Stewart-Isaacs, CEO of Mosayk.


Reflecting on his journey, Michael shares, “My path with NFTE has been an incredible journey of growth, learning, and giving back.” From starting his own clothing line at 14 to becoming a successful business leader, Michael’s story is a testament to perseverance and mentorship.

National Nonprofit Day may have been August 17, but at NFTE, we're celebrating all month long!


In the past year, we reached 55,056 students globally, igniting the entrepreneurial spirit in young minds. Our 2,798 volunteers served 12,080 hours, guiding learners toward self-efficacy and self-discovery.


Since 1987, NFTE has empowered over a million youth through unique learning experiences that help them take control of their futures.

October 10 National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge

Forty-six finalist businesses from NFTE's regional challenges around the country will compete October 10 in New York City. The 19th annual NFTE National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge, presented by the Citi Foundation and EY, is NFTE's highest-profile business plan pitch competition of the year!


It culminates with the top 3 young finalists competing in front of an audience and VIP panel of judges for their share of $18,000 in prizes. Save your seat now!

World Series of Innovation Opens September 11

NFTE's World Series of Innovation (WSI), presented by Aramco, the Citi Foundation, and MetLife Foundation, is back for the 2024-2025 season, launching on September 11! Last year, WSI saw over 5,500 participants from 77 countries work to advance UN Sustainable Development Goals.


This year we're expanding our reach to even younger innovators:

WSI Imagination League (Ages 5-12): Inspiring our youngest dreamers to think big!

WSI Impact League (Ages 13-24): Empowering teens and young adults to create real-world change.
