Run with Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund toward a Cancer-Free Future

Did you know that more than half of all FDA-approved cancer drugs in the last 5 years were developed with significant contributions from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, our presenting sponsor and exclusive charity partner for the Boston Half?

You can help Dana-Farber continue to race toward a world without cancer by joining their Boston Half team. If you have already secured your race bib through the B.A.A., you can join today as an own-entry runner and support Dana-Farber in their mission to defy cancer.

The 2024 Boston Half presented by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund starts and ends in Franklin Park. The park, one of the oldest in America, is located in Boston’s Jamaica Plain and Dorchester neighborhoods. With a start on Pierpont Road, the course proceeds out of Franklin Park, along New Washington Street and Forest Hills Drive, and past both the Arnold Arboretum and Jamaica Pond as The Arborway becomes The Jamaicaway. The course then passes Willow Pond and Olmsted Park, before the turn around point on The Riverway 4.75 miles into the race. On the return, athletes hug the western side of the Emerald Necklace, with Leverett Pond, and Jamaica Pond now on the left. After a pair of out-and-back sections, athletes re-enter Franklin Park and finish on Pierpont Road.
