Support Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund

It’s not too late to support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, our presenting sponsor and exclusive charity partner for the Boston Half, in their mission to defy cancer.

When you support Dana-Farber’s team, you help make exceptional patient care possible. Thanks to a generous community of donors, Dana-Farber has launched the Centers for Early Detection and Interception, a first-of-its-kind clinic to increase early detection of precancerous conditions and improve access to screening for historically marginalized communities. With your help, Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund will continue to treat, prevent, and defy cancer for patients in Boston and beyond.

LET'S GO

The 2024 Boston Half presented by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund starts and ends in Franklin Park. The park, one of the oldest in America, is located in Boston’s Jamaica Plain and Dorchester neighborhoods. With a start on Pierpont Road, the course proceeds out of Franklin Park, along New Washington Street and Forest Hills Drive, and past both the Arnold Arboretum and Jamaica Pond as The Arborway becomes The Jamaicaway. The course then passes Willow Pond and Olmsted Park, before the turn around point on The Riverway 4.75 miles into the race. On the return, athletes hug the western side of the Emerald Necklace, with Leverett Pond, and Jamaica Pond now on the left. After a pair of out-and-back sections, athletes re-enter Franklin Park and finish on Pierpont Road.
