Family Humanitarian is pleased to announce a partnership with Next Meters and the newly formed Water Impact Network, which will bring the water metering and conservation industry of the United States together to provide clean water through Family Humanitarian water projects. In addition to providing funding for clean water for hundreds of thousands of people (and eventually millions), this partnership will provide Family Humanitarian with meters to be installed on our boreholes which will allow us to track the amount of water a given borehole is producing in real time. This information will be available for anyone to see and follow and will set a new standard for transparency.
3 Piped Water Systems in Guatemala
Three different villages received water systems that will allow clean water to be piped to individual homes, benefitting about 6,000 people.
5 Expeditions
Family Humanitarian held five amazing expeditions, including our last three to Guatemala, with more than 200 participants. Lives were touched, hearts and perspectives were changed, and friends and memories that will last a lifetime were made, all while having a truly profound impact on the thousands who were served.
95 New Boreholes in Africa
These 95 new boreholes were drilled in Liberia, Ghana, Uganda, and Kenya, providing clean water for over 205,000 people!
215 Water Filters
Water filters were distributed to 215 families (about 1500 people) in villages where drilling a borehole was unsuccessful due to an absence of groundwater. The water filter distribution included extensive training on use and maintenance so that the filter will last many years.

If you were unable to join us live for the evening of inspiration offered last month, the following is a recording of the presentation. In this recording, Carrie shares just a few of the stories of people who have touched her heart. The presentation should be enjoyable for those of all Christian faiths, those who have been on expeditions, those who are considering going, and those who don't intend to ever travel in the developing world. It focuses specifically on just a few of her interactions and lessons learned in Uganda, Kenya, and Ghana.
