Give Big Gallatin Valley + Missoula Gives
Thank you for your support!

We set big goals this year for Give Big Gallatin Valley and Missoula Gives, raising money to put directly towards student financial aid. Thanks to you all, we will be able to provide $7970 to future WRFI students through those two days of fundraising alone! We can't thank you enough for your support.

Donations, both one-time and on a monthly basis, make our work possible. We are honored to have your continued support of WRFI, in whatever way you can. Please visit our website at the link below to discover ways you can contribute!
Featured Course: Montana Afoot and Afloat
2023 Enrollment is still open, and lots of scholarships are available! This Fall course, worth 15 total credits, is all about examining the relationship between people and the land, specifically focusing on areas throughout Montana. Approximately half of the course is spent in the backcountry, from backpacking through wilderness areas, kayaking on the Missouri River, visiting Yellowstone National Park, and more. The other half is spent connecting with locals who depend on and care about the land they inhabit.
Update: Ryder Burliss, Restoration Ecology '19
Ryder Burliss, a Restoration Ecology student in 2019, recently shared with us a huge career update! When we last caught up with her, shortly after her graduation from the University of California, Berkeley, she was looking for an impactful role in the environmental field. She has been able to do just that, as an environmental scientist + assistant land use planner for GHD!

Learn more about the projects Ryder is working on in our new blog post at the link below.
