SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. We have been doing this for more than 50 years.

Because our work is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and thanks to our network of 10,000+ volunteers, we are able to deliver our services at no charge or at a very low cost. Learn more about SCORE.

Disaster assistance is now available for businesses, nonprofits, homeowners, and residents in several states to help communities recover after recent storms. SBA offers low-interest disaster loans to help businesses, nonprofits, homeowners and residents recover from declared disasters.

New U.S. Census Bureau data shows the Biden-Harris small business boom continued in 2022, with a rapid pace of new business applications second only to the record set in 2021. Since the start of the Biden-Harris Administration, small business applications reached a high of 10.5 million, the most in any two years in our nation’s history. If you are thinking about starting a business, check out the SBA's Business Guide.
