IPAA NEWS:
The Illinois Public Airports Association’s (IPAA) 2024 Annual Fall Conference will be held at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa (ERI), in Galena, Illinois, October 6th thru October 8th, 2024. As in the past, this year’s conference will feature a wide array of informative guest speakers. A tentative agenda will be posted within the next few weeks.
All attendees are welcome to register on Sunday October 6th late afternoon and enjoy your free time and dinner on your own. Board Members, we will hold our board meeting on Sunday October 6th at 5pm – Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa lower level.
This year, we are again offering an exhibitor booth to any company that would like to set up to promote their business, specific details are included on the sponsorship form. A special breakfast with exhibitors will be offered on Monday morning, prior to our full day of program and an afternoon session with exhibitors will be on the agenda as well.
All attendees are invited to join us for dinner at the Territory Owner’s Club Monday evening. Tuesday, October 8th, we will host the IPAA Golf Classic beginning at 1:00 p.m. after our program on the East Course. If we do not receive your golf fee prior to the outing, you will not be included in the golf classic. We will have a small gathering back at the Owner’s Club Tuesday evening after the golf classic. If you plan on attending, you MUST check that option on the registration form. If you do not register for that event, we will not be able to accommodate food and beverage for you.
The ERI convention sales staff has again offered us a reduced lodging rate. We encourage you to stay at the ERI lodge and urge you to make your reservations as soon as possible. In order to release the association from guest room attrition, our reserved block of rooms at the lodge will be dropped on Friday September 6, 2024 Please contact the lodge directly for your room reservation at 815-777-2444 and provide them with the reservation code - 69B3JP
The Early Bird registration fee for this year’s conference will be $435.00/per person, which includes the business program as well as most meals and hospitality suite. Spouse/Guest Registration will be $75.00 which will cover Monday night’s dinner as well as the hospitality suite. Tuesday evening’s dinner is $35.00 per person but included in the golf registration fee for the golfers. This rate will be extended through September 6, 2024.
As you are aware, this conference has traditionally been Illinois premier aviation event and this year is no exception. Below, you will find the link to both the registration and sponsor/exhibit form. Once you complete the documents, we will send you an invoice for payment.
