Dear ABBA Member,

As we eagerly anticipate 2024, we approach a significant milestone in our history — the centennial celebration of both our esteemed American Brahman Breeders Association (ABBA) and the American Brahman cattle.

President Forgason has entrusted our committee with a noble mission: to ensure that the 2024 celebration leaves an indelible mark, one that will be fondly remembered for the next century.

It is my honor to update you, our valued members, on our preparations and to extend an invitation for your active participation in making this celebration truly spectacular.

The 100-Year Celebration Committee, under the guidance of The ABBA Past Presidents, the Executive Committee, and the International Committee, has diligently worked on devising a comprehensive plan that aligns with our vision for 2024.

I am pleased to share that apart from the grand celebration planned in conjunction with Houston 2024, we are also organizing four regional events throughout the year. These are designed to engage members who may not be able to attend the Houston festivities.

Thursday, Feb. 29

On the financial front, the entirety of the celebration is being funded through our collective fundraising efforts, particularly the 2023 National Show Sale this coming November.

We are thrilled to announce that 100% of the lots and services for the sale have been donated, ensuring all proceeds go towards our centennial celebration.

As we inch closer to this momentous occasion, we are filled with excitement and anticipation. Together, let's make this celebration a testament to our journey and pave the way for another glorious century for ABBA.
