What We Do

Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) is a global education nonprofit that empowers partners to access our entrepreneurial education programs and equip youth in under-resourced communities with the skills, connections, credentials, and real-world experiences needed to lead change and own their futures. Since 1987, NFTE has reached more than 1.3 million learners worldwide and trained thousands of teachers.

Students and Alumni

NFTE guides the next generation of entrepreneurial thinkers through enriching student opportunities and exclusive alumni support services, so they can launch or grow viable businesses or pursue other career pathways after graduation. Our learners embody NFTE’s mission to ignite the entrepreneurial mindset with unique learning experiences that empower students to own their futures.



Volunteers



Our volunteers play the critical role of bringing authenticity and validation to the student experience. We offer a variety of opportunities to fit our volunteers' schedule and passion - everything from sharing their entrepreneurial journey or business lesson as guest speakers to making a deeper impact as business coaches or advisors.

NFTE Educators

Every day, NFTE teachers model the entrepreneurial mindset and startup skills to their students, preparing them to be career-ready. NFTE provides a robust Entrepreneurial Teacher Corps - a supportive community where teachers uplift each other, fostering growth in and out of the classroom through personal and professional development opportunities.
