Schedule Page Live Filters

Don’t scramble — just enter a keyword.
|
|
|
|
We’ve updated how you can filter transactions on the Schedule page! Easily type in a keyword related to your transaction to find out what date it is scheduled for. For example, you can now just type in a portion of a VIN (like the last six digits) or buyer’s name (even part of the name) to cruise through your upcoming transactions much faster.
Try it out. You’ll find that filtering makes your deals that much easier to find — let alone, when they are due.

Beginning June 27th, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will require APPS (Automated Processing Partnership System) agents to begin issuing EV / Hybrid (EVH) stickers with license plates registered to electric or hybrid vehicles. A processing modal will prompt agents when to begin issuing the EVH stickers to customers.
The department began mailing EVH sticker inventory to qualifying organizations at the beginning of April in anticipation of the June 27th “go live” date. Stickers will be mailed separately for qualifying vehicles prior to June 27th.
Do not issue EVH stickers until you receive notification to do so.
EVH sticker inventory ordering will be available to qualifying organizations after June 27th.

Wisconsin document names have changed format in Vitu with a new ending:
Document name_envelopeNumber
Please note that this change in Vitu is ONLY for Wisconsin documents. The envelope number is a unique and state-specific number assigned to each transaction that has been submitted.
Let’s take a look at a few examples:
|
The Surviving Spouse Title Fee Waiver has been expanded to include additional qualifying family members. Starting in late June 2024, Vitu will support three new Relation dropdown options adding the words Other Surviving Family Member(s) as seen below:

In Wisconsin, any type of paper that incorporates features to deter and/or detect counterfeiting or unauthorized reproduction is considered to be secured paper. Forms used for odometer disclosure must be printed on secured paper, including the following:
- MV11 — Wisconsin Title and License Plate Application
- MV2690 — Power of Attorney, Vehicle Odometer Disclosure
- MV2488 — Vehicle Transfer and Odometer Mileage Statement

Recently, there has been an increase in the amount of standalone temporary license plates issued after the title and registration transaction was pended. It’s important to know that issuing a temporary plate after your transaction is pended updates the vehicle record and may leave your organization unable to update, complete or reset the pended transaction.
Here are some helpful tips for pended errors:
|
- If an error was made on a pended application or it cannot be completed electronically, the application should be reset prior to issuing a standalone temp plate.
- If a temporary license plate was issued with a transaction that was pended, the temporary plate will remain valid after the title and registration application is reset and can be reprinted.
- If you discover an error and cannot reset/delete the application, contact the Agent Partnership Unit at (608) 266-3566 for assistance.

Please remember to report your Wisconsin physical plate inventory by Sunday, June 30th, and the inventory submitted should reflect what plates your business will be holding as of June 30th for each terminal ID.
Important things to remember:
|
- Make sure to check that each plate listed in the system is physically in your possession.
- The link to submit this information will be live on Wednesday, June 26th.
- Failing to complete this process will result in the DMV denying orders for additional plates as well as limit or suspend system access.
|
You can complete the Annual License Plate Inventory process by performing the following steps:
|
- Have the APP Agent Processor log into eMV PARTNER at emvpartner.wi.gov
- Select the Annual Inventory link under Plates & Stickers Inventory on the Dashboard

To avoid delays during Pre-Audit, please ensure all documents required on the Checklist are scanned. Here are a few tips for scanning documents:
- Always scan all documents into one PDF
- Make sure your scanner is cleaned and not producing bad scans
- Ensure you scan the back of the titles, MCOs or any other documents with information on the back
Thank you for scanning your documents correctly!

The state of Massachusetts has just updated the requirement for the Bill of Sale. Effective immediately, the state requires that the Seller's Bill of Sale needs to be on the letterhead of the seller.
|
It doesn't happen often, but occasionally we require additional documents to be sent to one of our Interstate offices. Please be sure to put "ATTN: INTERSTATE" to make sure the package reaches the correct department as quickly as possible.
|
We've noticed some deals that are in Error status require additional time for corrections or additions, and this means the following items could expire and may need to be resubmitted:
- Driver License expiration dates
- Insurance expiration dates
- VIN Inspection expiration dates
In cases such as these, you’ll need to obtain new, unexpired copies of any of the items mentioned above and resubmit them to Vitu — either scans of updates during Pre-Audit or the documents for final submission.

Please remember that anytime you need assistance with Interstate transactions, just use our Live Chat service to reach our Interstate Support team for unparalleled service.

When a buyer's name has been struck out and a new buyer added on a title, whether a name was added in error or the sale canceled, Montana title regulation requires these two items:
|
- Statement of Fact/Correction explaining the strike-out
- This statement must be on a dealership letterhead document, clearly state they have no interest in the vehicle, and be signed.
- If it's an individual, they can complete and sign a statement of fact but they need to clearly say they do not have an interest in the vehicle.
- Conforming odometer disclosure between the correct purchaser and seller

Vitu and NTX accept tribal and U.S. Government titles. For the most part, there will not be a NMVTIS record returned so we will take the provided title at face value as the current one and not need to request further documents (such as an MVR).
However, if an NMVTIS is returned for a U.S. state after the issue date of the provided title, we will need a newer title than the title provided.
Selecting the titling state
While processing these transactions, when you are asked to select the titling state, enter the state that the vehicle currently resides in for Tribal and enter “District of Columbia” for U.S. Government titles, as shown below.
|
You no longer need to click the words, “Let us know if you have any questions.” The Communication tab now defaults to opening a thread for you.
|
Vitu’s status badges have been updated, and we’ve provided a summary below of the changes you need to be aware of.
|
Pending
As a reminder, once a transaction has been submitted to audit — the status will show as Pending. An auditor has up to two business days to review this transaction.
- If there are NO errors, it will move to Completed
- If there are errors, it will move to Issue Found
Completed
When a transaction is in a Completed status — the title prints and ships out on the next business day. The point of contact receives an email with the tracking information and a list of VINs being shipped.
Issue Found
If the transaction is in an Issue Found status — once the corrections have been made, the auditor — again — has two business days to review the transaction.
|
We are continuing to increase our MVR access and to provide you with the most convenient means possible to process your NTX transactions. Below is a breakdown of what you can process within your transaction and also the states that will require a few extra steps.
