It is the first week of the legislative session and we are already looking at around 1000 new bills being introduced this year. We also have about 1500 bills left over from last legislative session so there is a lot moving around. Things are busy.

This year should be pretty quiet for Denturists. We will be participating in the Dental One Coalition again and working on budget items to protect and enhance Medicaid spending. 

Below you will see bills up for a hearing this week and below that will be a detailed list of all bills introduced below with specific impact possibly on denturists. Please review these bills and let me know if you think WDA should take an active role in either passing or defeating each of these bills. I have highlighted specific ones that we need to look at right away.
