Heirloom Market. 263 Main Street. Wethersfield. 6:30pm

March 7, 2023: “A Guide to Pollinator Gardens” Join Pollinator Pathway of Wethersfield and Rocky Hill to learn about pollinator decline and the need for people to make more pollinator habitat. We’ll discuss some of the resources available for pollinator gardens, including websites, books, seed, and plant sources, and the activities of the group itself. Leave with a simple plan for a 4 plant pollinator garden with advice to make it flourish!

March 14, 2023: “Rewilding With Purpose: Creating Composed and Intentional Ecosystems At Home” Zach Potter-Vose of Blue Arrow Gardens will dispel the myth that "rewilding" means having an overgrown yard that frightens the neighbors. Instead, he'll discuss "rewilding" as a means of using an ecosystem-based approach to landscaping that encourages the natural relationships between plants and their environment.

March 21, 2023: “Composting” Sherill Baldwin of CT DEEP will address the issue of reducing waste with beneficial composting. Representatives from Blue Earth Compost will have information available.
