NFTE has been featured on stage at a plethora of events around the world this month!
I was pleased to be invited to represent NFTE at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Human Capability Initiative – a keystone event connected to their groundbreaking Vision 2030 initiative. If you have the chance, please view the panel I moderated on the research innovations that will be most consequential for humankind. Or please view the panel I participated in on the state of education, learning, and artificial intelligence.
Closer to home, we returned to the SXSW EDU stage in a panel I moderated on engaging Gen Z in socially conscious entrepreneurship. Through this discussion, which also featured our colleagues from American Student Assistance (ASA) and Build, it was clear that the next generation is taking the change they want to see in the world into their own hands. Further, entrepreneurship education is the key to helping them get there. Through programs like NFTE, we are connecting young people to their passions, igniting their entrepreneurial mindset, and empowering them to own their futures.
Our invited participation in both of these events is further evidence of NFTE’s growing influence on the world of innovation, education, and the future of work. We look forward to continuing these efforts in the months ahead!

Introducing the Exploring Careers Curriculum for Middle Level Education
March is Middle Level Education Month. To celebrate, NFTE is launching its new Exploring Careers curriculum designed for grades 6-9. Students in this comprehensive program explore their interests, skills, and personal strengths while learning how these factors align with potential career paths.
The modular, flexible program positions educators to help students develop financial literacy skills; practice pitching; and acquire essential career skills such as decision making, critical thinking, goal setting, communication, and collaboration.
Exploring Careers connects directly to NFTE's research-proven Entrepreneurial Mindset Index, cultivates that mindset among students, and introduces them to all career and technical education (CTE) clusters. Through 25 engaging lessons, immersive labs, and experiential hands-on learning, students develop skills needed to prepare for the future of work and success in an innovation economy.
As the landscape of careers continues to change, real-world learning experiences are becoming increasingly crucial for students. NFTE's Exploring Careers program addresses this need, offering a great option for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. To learn more or book a free demo, contact your regional team or getstarted@nfte.com.

NFTE Alumna Shines as Boston Celtics' "Small Business of The Game"
The Boston Celtics not only won against the Detroit Pistons on March 18, but also showcased their support for NFTE and for local businesses.
Zainabou Thiam, an alumna in NFTE's New England Region, stood proudly on the court as she was given the “Small Business of the Game” accolade. Zainabou is the founder of Sunu Body, a skincare and jewelry business that celebrates the West African culture's natural beauty. She and her business were featured on the Jumbotron for the entire arena of 21,000 spectators to see!
Zainabou was joined by fellow NFTE alum Jose Rodriguez, founder of Tasium. He and his brother, Joel, were spotlighted last year as the Celtics' “Heroes Among Us.” NFTE's alumni are often celebrated and stand as consistent reminders of NFTE's impact and the need to fuel the futures of young entrepreneurs.
