Verifying VINs and weights for non-PA titles.

For all vehicles not titled in Pennsylvania, PennDOT requires a VIN to be verified. This includes all out-of-state titles, MCOs and Pennsylvania salvage certificates. In addition, if the non-Pennsylvania titled vehicle is a Truck, Trailer or Motorhome, you (as the agent) are also required to verify the weights.

Is your DLDV missing?

Heads up — because there has been an unfortunate increase in transactions being submitted without the DLDV (Driver License Data Verification), here’s an easy way to know for sure whether to include the DLDV. Just click the image below to refer to PennDOT’s DLDV FAQ for the transaction types that require a DLDV.

Requirements for copying documents.

We understand that sometimes you are in a hurry — but making sure multiple documents aren’t facing in different directions before copying them really makes a big difference. For example, when copying multiple documents on one page, such as a driver license, insurance card, registration card or DLDV, please make sure all documents are facing the same direction on the copy.

And by the way, remember that all copies submitted must be legible and should be copied to the original size of the document with no sides, corners or edges cut off.

Call us at 717-724-0744, option ''0'' for any questions.

When calling for customer support in the Pennsylvania office, it’s critical to dial 717-724-0744 and select option “0” to get you directly to them.

Please understand that if you do NOT dial the Pennsylvania number, you will experience a delay in receiving a call back from our team. This is because your call is instead routed to our other teams located in other jurisdictions — and the probability of those folks being able to answer your question is slim to none.

For ALL Pennsylvania business questions, it is imperative to call the Pennsylvania number 717-724-0744, option "0" to avoid a delay in response. However, for NTX, Interstate etc., it is okay to call the other numbers.
