Kathryn has held positions in finance in various regional and national level mandated roles within Commercial Banking and Private Wealth at BMO Bank of Montreal. Her previous experience was on sell-side mergers and acquisitions with a healthcare focus, and she has also held various positions in academia at McMaster University both in direct research and overseeing operations and research projects at a Data Institute.
Daniella Kvrgic
Associate, CIBC Capital Markets
Daniella has worked with CIBC Capital Markets for five years specializing in derivative sales. For the first three years, she worked with CIBC’s cross-asset sales team, helping create bespoke structures for institutional clients, primarily focusing on equity and fixed income derivative solutions. Following this, she has spent time further specializing in equity derivative sales, providing solutions to institutional clients via listed and OTC equity options.
Katarina Savic
Chief Information Officer, AGF Investments Inc.
Prior to taking the Chief Information Officer role, Katarina was Senior Vice President, Operations and Client Service leading the Investment and Fund Operations, Information and Solutions Delivery and Retail and Institutional Client Services and Support functions at AGF Investments. She joined AGF in 2006, leading the IT Solutions Delivery team, after which time she moved into the broader Operations group, progressively taking on more responsibilities. Katarina has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining AGF, she held various management and delivery positions within the wealth management and brokerage organizations at Merrill Lynch Canada and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).
Neha Lalany
Finance Operations, Cohere
Neha Lalany is a recent graduate from the University of Waterloo. She is currently working on the finance team at Cohere, a Canadian startup that is revolutionizing natural language processing with advanced AI and reshaping our interaction with digital language. Neha’s experience includes Venture Capital at BDC on the THRIVE fund, a $300 million dollar fund for women in tech entrepreneurs across Canada. Neha was an inaugural member of the Launch Me program and has been a member of the 100 Women in Finance Student Steering Committee for the past three years where she has helped make meaningful contributions for student programs.
