Applications for 2024 Mini-Grants Accepted Starting September 15!

Apply Before October 15 Deadline

Through the joint work of the Program Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Board, the national Mini-Grant Program has been revived for one grant cycle this year. (The program was suspended last year because of lack of capacity within the committee.) The program is expected to continue in 2025 with three funding cycles.

Here are some of the key 2024 provisions and guidelines:

  1. The funding levels for individual grants is back to $250 – $2,500 in 2024.
  2. No Mini-Grant funds may be spent for most consumable goods, for meals, or for catering.
  3. For 2024, the grant application period starts September 15 and with an October 15 deadline.

See Mini-Grant webpage for further details and all forms

Some Policies and Guidelines for Mini-Grant applications are on the Mini-Grant webpage here. Additional factors considered when reviewing grant proposals, plus restrictions on funding, are listed here.

Other links and materials for applying for a Mini-Grant can be found on that page.

The Mini-Grant Committee for this 2024 program renewal consists of:

  1. Dr. Jean Kennedy (Fresno)
  2. Margaret and Garth Pecoraro (sharing one vote — Tucson)
  3. Jane “Cricket” Doyle (Santa Cruz)

If your review of the webpage still leaves you with questions, please feel free to email the committee at this address: programsupport@wilpfus.org.
