Participate in the B56 Public Review

The Canadian Standard Association Group (CSA Group) is now inviting public feedback on the draft of the new CSA B56 Power Engineering – Facility Rating and Staffing Standard. This standard promotes uniform, coordinated, and consistent administration and enforcement related to the classification, rating, and supervision requirements for the safe management and operation of boilers and refrigeration facilities.

We encourage you to review the draft and submit your feedback to the CSA Group by October 20, 2024. This is an opportunity for the boiler, pressure vessel, and refrigeration industry, and other safety partners, to suggest changes to the standard at the national level before publication.
