Eighth Annual Research and Innovation September Symposium

On September 25th, the Vermont Agency of Transportation (AOT) hosted the eighth Annual September Research and Innovation Symposium as a hybrid event at Barre Auditorium in Barre and live online. We had over 120 in-person attendees and a few virtually. This year, we featured 24 projects in four technical sessions: Planning and Safety; Materials and Structures; Asset Management, Environmental, and Resilience; and Electric Vehicles and GHG Plus. Keynote speaker Todd May from Indiana DOT presented on Innovation Culture during our Plenary Session. In-person attendees also received a Symposium booklet, featuring the 24 projects and their impact to VT. All project materials (Fact Sheets, Posters, presentation slides, recordings) are or will be posted on the Symposium project webpages.
