About the Scholarship Program
Recognizing the critical role emerging professionals play in the future of air pollution control, waste management and other environmental management fields, WM-AWMA has long prioritized efforts to develop the next generation of environmental professionals in industry, government agencies, and research, as well as those of educators, attorneys, and consultants within West Michigan.

Over the past 28 years we have honored these future leaders by providing scholarships. Since 1994, WM-AWMA has contributed over $184,000 to 99 students.
Special consideration for WM-AWMA Members! Eligible applicants must attend an accredited college or university in Michigan, however WM-AWMA chapter members (or children of a member) are also eligible if attending an accredited college or university located outside of Michigan. All applicants must be planning to pursue a career in the West Michigan area.
