NFTE Writes: Must-Read Books

“Not every kid leaves high school with a job offer, an internship, a college acceptance letter, or even with a diploma. One thing that nearly every American kid leaves school with, though, is uncertainty; the kind that often lasts a lifetime,” said Jean Eddy, CEO & President at American Student Assistance and a member of NFTE's National Board of Directors.

Check out the latest book by Jean Eddy, which explores the career readiness pathways youth take and how a different educational approach could prepare them for the detours life presents.

“Crisis-Proofing Today’s Learners: Reimagining Career Education to Prepare Kids for Tomorrow’s World” delves into the education system's gaps and paves new paths for career readiness, empowering the next generation to tackle life's twists and turns with prepared confidence.
